When are the birthday's ever gonna be celebrated?

This is what most Intelgraters will find interesting and worth a read and that is the delay in celebration of Various Intelgrater's birthdays.Now what really is the reason for such neglect by the higher authority,is a cause of concern!!
Right now the status of pending celebrations is two to be precise and to top it off we have yet another birthday tomorrow!Now who decides the date of celebration is well...That guy who works for Intelgrate and he must be busy with loads of work or something else or hes on vacation...now I honestly don't know whats his excuse or probable reason for the cause of

The Long Awaited Picnic

The annual picnic for intelgraters this year was a dull and boring affair.The venue for the outing was morjim beach.Why dull and boring you ask? Well it was supposed to be fun and interesting and it was not as each one did their own thing.A few played cricket,a few of them were on the cellphones and a few of them went for a walks.Even during lunch time one went to meet their relative and was not there for lunch and the food ordered was way too much.Though the day started on a good note, for me personally it ended on a bad note both personally and professionaly.Personally because I was stranded out of the office for almost an hour and half and had to take all the stuff out of the mini bus and make so many trips to the office from the bus and professionaly because I didnt see the entire team being together. There are small islands being formed which is not a good thing for team work.

Graphic designer shortage at Intelgrate

Graphics play a very important part in a website as even a simple image can convey a lot to the end user.Here at Intelgrate we are having serious problems getting the thought process on paper/photoshop as we are trying to learn the art of perfect graphics but we cannnot just bank on that.God only knows when we'll be ACE at it.

So you get the picture "We require a really creative mind" who will have the graphics say it all yet already being ACE at what he/she does.He/she should and ought to be able to visualize mentally what a client explains and convert the mere description of words into pictorial themes or in simple words into pictures.Mental visualization should be to the graphic designer like honey is to bees ,carbon dioxide is to plants, oxygen is to mankind....

Alive and Kicking!!

Ok so the corporate blog had been dead a couple of days since I(Charlotte) wasn't available to write anything but now since I'm back from wherever I was, loads to tell about .Our interns are working full fledged and seem to enjoy their respective
assignments. Three groups of two members each. Most of their work includes surveys , so you can assume that they like galovanting to achieve their target.lol!!!
Two of my layouts are up on the server but major re designing has to be done
because I'm still new at this and am learning.So wish me luck!

Anna's bday bash!

Anna's birthday celebration finally kicked off today.From the start of the day all of us Intelgraters were in a party mood and still are.We had our crew from the GKB team join us.As the saying goes the more the merrier and so it was....I don't think it was a surprise to Anna!!!:)The day began on an excited note.Who isn't all game for a party ,right?So we did the deciding of the menu for lunch which was odered by Fritz,the party drink was Sprite and we ended it with Vanila and Chocolate cake which was chosen by Fritz(he picked it up in a car ...so he literally escaped the heat!!lol)We had a lot

Notes From CEO's Desk: Interacting With The Interns

Yesterday six interns from the MES (Mormugao Education Society) College of Arts & Commerce came in for an interview all of them are pursuing their BBA (Bachelors Of Business Administration) from MES College.

They all will be joining the resident Intelgraters here at Intelgrate HQ from the 16th of April 2007 and am sure all the Intelgraters are as enthusiastic as me to work with this bright minds who are rearing to go and change the world after they finish their educational training at present a BBA degree and then there is an MBA degree on their cards too.

In my interaction with all of them yesterday I found out they have role models like Bill Gates, Laxmi Niwas Mittal, Donald Trump etc etc and they themselves are looking at jumping on the entrepreneurship bandwagon 10 years down the line and enter various sectors like food,automotive etc also found out that they have a passion for HR, Marketing and Operations what was disappointing was that the trend this days seem to be flock towards HR and Marketing and no one seems to be interested in Finance.

The Picnic scenario at Intelgrate

The guy who works at Intelgrate has come to only one decision for now and that is that Intelgraters are going for a much awaited picnic.The venue as well as the date is yet to be finalised.The places suggested by various Intelgraters are Baga,Calangute,Ashvem,Morjim and Bat island(Divar),the latter of the lot suggested by me:) Im guessing the majority is for Ashvem as observed from the Intelgrate mailing list(info overload....hehe)but it is yet to be finalised.The date apparently most want is the 7th or the 14th of April '07 which is again to be finalised.So we are all waiting for the "V

Anna's birthday and cricket status

Yesterday was Anna's birthday (2nd of April) the birthday party for anna is pending because the person who is incharge of keeping us Intelgraters  happy(Our CEO) totally forgot about it and he will make up for it with a grand birthday bash for Anna.We had the regular cake and snacks not to mention a low key photo session.All in all the day was good definitely for us Intelgraters and for Anna too.
I thought i'd blog on one more event,aspect...whatever you want to call it.The aspect being the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup.We've reached the stages of the Super Eight and my team being Au

Cricket Worldcup Mania At Intelgrate HQ

So now that the ICC Cricket World Cup has finally and actually taken off,16 teams to choose from to support for the entire duration of 45 whole days.

Here at Intelgrate the support is broken down into 3 groups.The guy who works at Intelgrate(Fritz-for those who dont know!) is all for West Indies and his prediction of their first victory turned out to be true.Then we have the entire Intelgrate crew cum India contrymen/women cheering for their very own county Team India!And finaly Me living this ICC Cricket World Cup the Aussie way!!

So far so good for Fritz and Myself having our respective teams winning the 1st match.Tomorrow I'm sure Team India supporting Intelgraters are all geared up to support "THE MEN IN BLUE".So until kickoff time tomorrow 8:30 p.m.IST its South Africa v/s The Netherlands and England v/s New Zealand for today.
